NightFlight Expedition: what admission and TimeSaver include

September 23 update: NightFlight Expedition is scheduled to close September 28 through October 2 for adjustments, according to Matt Hollingsworth’s September 22 report for WATE, available through its syndicated AOL copy. WATE attributes the dates to Dollywood’s announcement that morning. The report does not establish an exact reopening time or guarantee operation on October 3.

If your visit falls within that period, do not buy TimeSaver expecting to use it on NightFlight. The admission comparison below was checked September 8; it does not override a ride closure. Check the park’s current operating notices before making plans around this attraction.

NightFlight Expedition is included with regular Dollywood admission and season passes, and no ride reservation is required. That is the policy in the park’s first-rider guide, published August 26, which dates the public opening to August 19, 2026.

The paid queue option has a separate limit. The same guide describes NightFlight as a one-time use with TimeSaver Premium. TimeSaver is optional; it buys expedited entry to eligible lines rather than permission to ride.

Dollywood’s main TimeSaver page advertises unlimited Premium entries at 13 attractions. NightFlight does not appear in that page’s comparison chart or eligible-ride list as checked September 8. The broader unlimited wording therefore does not establish unlimited priority entry at NightFlight. The ride-specific guide gives the narrower, one-use description.

If NightFlight is the reason you are considering TimeSaver, confirm its inclusion and entry limit for your visit date before buying. We have not verified a checkout offer or measured how much time the paid line saves.

For families checking the ride itself, the attraction page lists a 39-inch minimum height. It puts the experience in Wildwood Grove and lists 5.5 minutes including loading and unloading; that is not 5.5 minutes of uninterrupted riding.
